The Mortgage Lawyer counsels and assists his clients in obtaining mortgage loans for purchase or refinance.  Historically, lawyers have provided this service to their clients as part of the practice of law.  However, in the modern era, this service has been performed by banks or mortgage brokers who charged various fees to obtain the loan. Due to the increasing variety of loans available, as well as the complexity of the loan application process, many clients find the services of The Mortgage Lawyer to be invaluable.

Retaining The Mortgage Lawyer can also be cost effective since many of the "fees" charged by banks and mortgage brokers are eliminated. No origination fees, broker fees, or application fees are ever charged!  We tell you at our first meeting how much it will cost to close your loan and put it in writing in what is known as a Good Faith Estimate of Costs.

The only fees collected by The Mortgage Lawyer are: Minimize

---Attorney’s fee payable only if the loan closes.

---Title Insurance (required by the lender).

---Appraisal fee (usually $300.00).

---Hazard Insurance and taxes in escrow (these may be waived).

---Recording fee to record the mortgage or deed of trust.

In addition to saving money, many clients appreciate the security that comes from hiring The Mortgage Lawyer to handle the legal issues associated with purchasing or refinancing their home.

At The Mortgage Lawyer you are a client, never a “customer”, or an “account”.
